Postcard from a woman named Birdie to Mrs. M. M. Matlock with an illustration of a holly plant and a printed note that reads: "This little spray of Christmas Holly I hope will find you Gay and Jolly Christmas Greetings."

Postcard addressed to Mrs. M. M. Matlock with a photograph of an oil rig with its workers hanging out at the bottom. The note on the back of the card asks Mrs. Matlock how "the war [is] up their [sic]," and says that down there it "looks like real war some times."

Postcard to M. M. Matlock from his brother with a tinted photograph of "Chief Iron Tail, Indian Squaws and Papooses at Buffalo Bill's Wild West." The note on the back of the card discusses activities taking place back home as M. M. Matlock is at officer's school in South Carolina.

Postcard from Milton Andrew Matlock to his mother with a tinted photograph the South Wellfleet Marconi wireless towers in Massachusetts; this includes four large towers and a small building. The note on the back of the card asks his mother why she has not responded to his letters, as well as mentions that he sent her a box of photos of the U. S. S. Utah and crew.

There is also a note on the back of the card that talks about life at the sender's house and the fact that they are working "for a few days at the Bakery."
