Dress is accented at rounded neckline, angled welt pockets, hemline, waistline and down center front with black and white running stitch yarn applied border trim. Evening jacket of black silk with sequin decoration. Hip length jacket with long sleeves, High, rounded collar with two hook-and-eyes just below throat, and center front opening with 9 hidden snaps and two hook-and-eyes. Neckline, cuffs, hem, and cf opening heavily beaded/sequined in gold and copper with small Paisley forms in green and blue/gray chain stitch embroidery. Body of jacket decorated in large blocks of overlapping sequins in iridescent purple, iridescent dark green, and black sequins. Torso lined in black silk; sleeves unlined. Coat dress of black silk taffeta with off-white fuzzy woven-in polka dots. Calf-length(? - depends on petticoats), with a small modified "Peter Pan" turn-down collar, which has attached front bias bands to tie into bow at front of collar. 3/4-length set-in sleeves. Center front opening with 16 black circular plastic buttons, hidden snaps at waist and throat, and hook-and-eye at waist. Full, flaring skirt with 13 gores. Unlined. Combined Designer's/Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" Black silk taffeta jacquard-woven with supplemental pile design in the weft.
