Interview with Jose Gonzalez, an anesthetist and Army veteran of the Vietnam War. In the interview, Gonzalez describes his experiences while serving as an Army nurse in Vietnam. Gonzalez discusses what life was like during his assignment to the 24th Evacuation Hospital, and includes details concerning relationships between doctors and nurses, morale, American relations with Vietnamese civilians, recreational activities, entertainment, and his Bronze Star award. He also recalls the adjustments that both he and many of his comrades dealt with post-Vietnam, and shares his attitudes toward the war.

Interview with William E. Moore Jr., a Army WWII veteran from Temple, Texas, who was present at the attack on Pearl Harbor. Moore discusses his time in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, assignment to 24th Division Artillery at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, training and alerts, the attack at Wheeler Field and taking defensive positions around Oahu, and service afterwards.

Interview with Randell Fields. The interview includes Fields' personal experiences about attending the Texas International Pop Festival in Lewisville, Texas, early youth in rural Texas, and transferring high schools. Fields also talks about attendance at the "Big D Jamboree," the effects of his parent's divorce and influence of his young stepmother's interest in current music, student challenges to authority at North Texas Mesquite High School, rock 'n roll music of the Sixties, the influence of the radio station KZEW, attending the festival accompanied by his brother, sister, and father, observing the festival from outside the grounds, and the significance of the festival.

Interview with Debbie Denmon, local news media personality and third-generation descendant of residents of Quakertown, as part of the Quakertown Oral History Project. The interview includes Denmon's personal experiences about childhood and education in Denton, having a career in broadcast journalism, and reporting on local efforts to capture Quakertown history. Interview with David Braden, architect and Army Air Forces veteran. In the interview, Braden speaks about his impressions of General Curtis LeMay in the Pacific Theater during World War II, his assignment to Saipan, Mariana Islands, for bombing operations against the Japanese homeland, LeMay's arrival in the Marianas and changes in bombing techniques, the thirty-five mission limitation and improvement in aircrew morale, his functions as a B-29 navigator, LeMay's decision to conduct incendiary night rights at 5,000 feet, the strategic importance of Iwo Jima for bomber crews, and his assessment of how LeMay's policies made a decided difference in ending the war.

Interview with Alan Lee Briscoe, NASA engineer and manager, as part of the Skylab Oral History Project. The interview includes Aaron's personal experiences about childhood and education, having a career with NASA in mission control, space shuttle and software development, and International Space Station programs. Aaron speaks about his duties on various missions, Skylab's importance to NASA and space exploration, and his perceptions of NASA's working and management culture. Interview with Murphy Daniels, African-American alumnus of North Texas State University. The interview includes Daniels' personal experiences about childhood and education, enrolling in North Texas rather than Texas Southern University, majoring in pre-med, serving in the United States Air Force, studying at Southwestern Medical School, and pursuing medical research. Additionally, Daniels speaks about his difficulties with white professors and graduate assistants, race relations on campus, social life among black students on campus, and off-campus life in "Shack Town" and the support from black citizens of Denton.

Interview with longtime Denton residents Frank and Betty Ann Barrow for the Denton County Historical Commission. The interview includes Frank's personal experiences about his childhood and moving to Denton, having a career as a radio announcer, serving in the Special Services division of the Army Air Forces, having a career as an automobile dealer, insurance agent, and haberdasher in Denton, working with a Methodist church, being involved in the Denton Community Theatre, serving on the Denton City Council, and his political career as mayor of Denton. It also includes Betty Ann's family history and how they coped with the Great Depression, information on her education at North Texas State College, and her personal experiences about marriage, the death of her husband in a flying accident, widowhood, her marriage to Frank Barrow, her clothing business, and working to liberalize Denton race relations. Kerr discusses Guadacanal, his machine gun wound at Guadacanal, Kwajalein, Saipan, and his assignment to a legal office at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

Interview with J. W. Stoker, a cowboy from Weatherford, Texas. Stoker discusses his family and growing up, getting involved in the rodeo, traveling shows, being drafted into the Army and serving in Korea, celebrities he has worked with, the Six Flags Wild West Show, induction into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, contemporary rodeos, his favorite acts, and reflections on his career. In appendix are two promotional photos of Stoker and his horse, and three of him performing.

Interview with H. F. Elliot, a doctor in Aransas County from Ames, Iowa. Elliot discusses his education, the most common illnesses he treats, common diseases in the county, the patients he sees, the capabilities of different hospitals he refers them to, quarantine, hurricanes, the school system, local sports, and his involvement in the Boy Scouts.

Interview with Navy veteran Paul R. Rose. The interview includes Belotti's personal experiences while aboard the battleship USS West Virginia during the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Interview with J. L. "Smokey" Sherman, an Army WWII veteran and POW from Ponder, Texas. Sherman discusses joining the Army in 1940, going to the Philippines and being stationed on Corregidor, the siege and fall of the island, his escape from capture and time as a guerrilla, surrender, and experiences in internment at Cabanatuan and Kobe.

Interview with Richard Longstaff, a gay rights activist from Cambridge, England. Longstaff discusses his childhood, gay men in the British military in the 1960s, moving to Dallas, becoming involved in gay rights, attempting to become a US citizen, his trial for being a gay immigrant and deportation, immigration reform, and gay marriage.

Interview with Dritz Schwalm, a professor at the University of North Texas from Arolsen, Hesse. Schwalm discusses his family background, the county of Waldeck, his education, moving to the United States and working in academia, his parents' laundry business, the University of Marburg, working at Texas Women's University and the University of North Texas, German culture in the United States, shopping, the Goethe Institute, American politics, thoughts on citizenship, and radical leftists in Germany. In appendix are two pictures of Marburg discussed in the interview.

Interview with Pam Livingston, a Denton, Texas public servant from Kansas. Livingston discusses growing up, her family, attending North Texas State College (UNT), her impression of Denton, her jobs with the city, being a certified business development specialist, church activity, changes in Denton over time, and thoughts on community. Interview with J. Brown, a teacher, rancher, stagecoach-builder, and longtime resident of Weatherford, Texas. Brown discusses his family history, his education and family, working the Wild West Show at Six Flags, building stagecoaches, the history of the stagecoach, and a tour of his shop.

Interview with Roy Allen, an Army Air Corps WWII veteran and POW from Denton, Texas. Allen served during the invasion of the Philippines in December 1941, after which he fought with Filipino guerrillas until his capture by Japanese forces in mid-1942. He was interned at the Del Monte Plantation, Mindanao, and later at Yokkaichi, Japan.

Interview with John Haynie, professor of trumpet at the University of North Texas from Ralls, Texas, regarding his career at the College of Music at UNT, the growth and development of the school, his colleagues, students, and family.

Interview with former president of the North Texas State College and the North Texas State University, J. C. Matthews from Denton, Texas. In the interview, Matthews shares his thoughts and experiences concerning the desegregation of intercollegiate athletics at North Texas State College in 1956.

Interview with Thomas Hayman, a builder from Huntsville, Texas, who was involved in the development of Hamilton Park. Hayman discusses his education and early career, going into the construction business, work with the Army Corps of Engineers during WWII, building projects in Dallas, the Dallas Interracial Association, prominent figures in Dallas business and the black community, and the process of building Hamilton Park.

Interview with Louis Edgar Turcotte, Jr., a rancher from Sarita, Texas, regarding his family history, education, life as a rancher, cattle dipping, career as a foremen of the Kenedy Ranch, and oil drilling in the area.
