[Red Paper Poppy]
Flower made of red paper for the petals and green paper and wire for the stem. Green and yellow ribbons are attached, as is a slip of paper that reads "In Memoriam". The other side of the paper says "The American Legion. American Legion Auxiliary. Veteran Made Poppy."

Evening dress of matelassé ivory rayon. Bias cut. High waist with starburst shaped tucks between breasts and where waist joins skirt. Deep U-shaped neckline with halter straps around back of neck and forming bands under the arms; shoulder straps. Center back closure of self-covered buttons and loops. Full length with slight train.
