Pamphlet offering guidance for Germans coming to Texas. The Instruction includes a question and answer section for German immigrants. Cover title. "Gobann einer Special-Karte uber den vermessenen Theil des Grant-Gebiets des Texas-vereines und einzelnen Planen der von demselben gegrundeten Stadte New-Braunfels, Friedrichsburg und Indianola." The portfolio includes, in addition to the Instruction (26 p.), the Comite- Bericht des Vereines zum Schutze deutscher Einwanderer in Texas (47 p.), 6 maps and two broadsides. Six maps on 3 folded leaves have been removed from this book and are housed in the Special Collections Map Room in Drawers 77/13 and 27/8 with the numbers: 310104, 310105, and 310106.
