Interview with Clyde Jones, former part-owner of Kerrville's first radio station, KERV, from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Jones discusses how he came to the area and his involvement with radio station, as well as some of the challenges he and his crew encountered. He also talks about his work with the Mental Health and Retardation Center at the Kerrville State Hospital. Mr. Jones briefly discusses his band, The Poverty Playboys.

The footage shows the same broadcast clip aired three times for the Black Music and Civil Rights concert to be held on February 17th. The tape includes footage of Curtis King being interviewed and African Americans attending church and singing.

Williams discusses his childhood and education in Dallas, medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee (1942-1945), his Army career, segregated housing in Dallas, discrimination against African-American physicians, dealing with the white power structure in Dallas, civil rights activities, his decision to build a home in Hamilton Park, Hamilton Park School and the quality of education, Karl Hoblitzelle, zoning problems, school desegregation, Pacesetter, and his decision to leave Hamilton Park.
