Bertig requesting to know how teh freeze has affected his farms in Arkansa and updating Mr. Bertig on the weather in Texas being bad enough to freeze powerlines. he also informs Mr. Bertig that his plans to visit him in March are changing because Mr. Kempner's daughter, Mary jean, is coming to visit him.
