Postcard from Kate Matlock to Edna Matlock saying that her children have had the chicken pox and that is why she has not written often. The illustration on the front of the card shows a little girl playing with a stick and a hoop; the note next to the picture reads: "This simple little card I send Is just to say to you That if it rains or if it shines My love for you is true."

Postcard from Kate to Mrs. W. A. Scott with an illustration of two children with a caption that reads: "Tell me, Sweet does that heart of thine Cherish a thought that is hope to mine?" The note on the card tells Scott that she should come up to Durant to visit but that Kate's children has had the chicken pox.
