An 18-year-old- Tulsa youth, Clarence Wayne Waggoner, suffered a back injury Tuesday night when this car overturned after colliding with another auto at California and Western. Waggoner and three others were passengers in the car driven by Willie Ray Long, 18, of 215 NW 5, when it collided with a car driven by Kenneth James Taylor, 18, of 1017 NW 7. Others escaped injury in the mishap. Police quoted witnesses as saying Long ran a stop sign so he was booked on a charge of failure to yield the right of way."

Caption: "TWO LIVES WERE LOST when the automobile above, driven by Park Wyatt, 70-year-old pioneer attorney of Shawnee, collided with a vehicle loaded with Tinker air force base workers at NE 10 and Air Depot road Monday afternoon. Wyatt, prominent in the state political circles since statehood was dead on arrival at Mercy hospital. His battered automobile was overturned and thrown into a ditch at the side of the road. Also killed was James Roberson, 37, a passenger in the other car."
