Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "An intense blaze gutted a big building and the electrical heart of a large Oklahoma City steel company Monday night leaving unofficial damage estimated near $250,000. A company official for Robberson Steel Co., headquartered at 1401 NW 3, said the entire four-block complext is without electricity and that "about 500" employees could be idle "for several days" because of the power shortage. The two-alarm blaze, contained by more than 12 pieces of fire fighting equipment, started in the company's electrical plant or transformer room that feeds the entire plant. Cause Unknown Exact cause as yet was undetermined, firemen said. Included in the plant area are a half dozen, high-roofed steel buildings that contained an excess of several thousand square feet of floor space. Firemen in some areas had to crawl over and thread hoses through huge stacks of steel sheets and beams before reaching a vantage point for the hoses. Firemen battle $250,000 blaze at Robberson Steel Co."
