The Texas State Historical Association Quarterly Report includes "Papers read at the meetings of the Association, and such other contributions as may be accepted by the Committee" (volume 1, number 1). The interview contains details of Land's childhood and the death of his mother, his experiences in the Great Depression, his experience being a recruit and an educational advisor in the CCC, his experiences as an active duty officer for the Naval Air Station, and his experiences working at the Rusk State Hospital.
