The car, driven by Raymond Edgar Berry jr., 26, of Shawnee, was in the act of flipping end-over-end when it met this tree. Berry and his passenger, George Pressley, 27, also of Shawnee, were thrown through the top. Both escaped with scratches. Ten minutes after this freak mishap a Shawnee wrecker en route to the scene, was involved in a crash 3 1/2 miles west of Shawnee on U. S. 270. Again , no one was hurt."
