A double lane of asphaltic concrete has already been laid to provide access from the south to the main fairground entrance, but rains Wednesday stopped plans to lay asphaltic concrete to give a north access. Barring more rain before Thursday morning, however, asphaltic comcrete will be put down Thursday. That will give the exposition a double lane from NW 10 to the entrance on the west leg of the proposed four-lane road and another double lane north from the Rock Island tracks on the east leg.
