The students put their support behind the $ 1 million section of the issue which will go to complete construction of the new Negro highschool. Voters Tuesday also will be asked for approval of $1,812,000 in bonds for relocating utility lines in the city's floodway program and $1,083,000 for purchase of right of way by the county for the urban expressway program as well as the construction of three new bridges. While highschool students headed through one section, junior highschool students with their band marched through another section of the city's east side."
