Caption: "A hit-and-run driver eluded police Tuesday after slammed into the rear of a pickup truck at the intersection of SW 15 and Agnew. The driver of the other vehicle, Jonnie E. Polley, 22, Lawton, was hospitalized with neck and shoulder injuries after his truck which was being chased by a police officer on a three-wheeled motorcycle. Officer J. J. Young said he started chasing the truck at SW 8 and Western when it made an improper lane change and cut off another motorist. The chase wound through southwest Oklahoma City at high speeds. Young said the pickup almost ran him down twice as he tried to force the driver to pull over. Investigating officer W. R. Chambless said witnesses told him the man jumped from his pickup after it slammed into Polley`s vehicle and flagged another car, which picked him up and drove away."
