After starting out in the wrong order, one unit had to pass the other at McaArthur and the Canadian river bridge. Work of moving the 60 by 90 foot structures will be completed Thursday, according to I. V. Ashby Construction Co., Edmond. It took 60 days to move all five buildings. The structures will be used for contagious disease wards at the hospital. When the structures moved inside the city the highway patrol escort turned the work to the city police."

Carey, grand jury foreman, bought 28 tax resale lots for $84 in 1940 and sold them last month for $6,000 to berard Moss, one of the county tax dealers under study by the jury. Sale of the lots, brought to light to light by a check of county records, was readily admitted by Carey wednesday night. he insisted, however, that he can act impartially as foreman of the jury. Moss mortgaged 26 of the lots for a $26,000 building loan and is building 12 houses on the property in Frost Heights addition, between SE 27 and SE 28, Lindsay and High. Warranty deeds issued Moss were notarized August 17 and August 26, the latter five days before the grand jury convened, but Carey said the sales were completed in a verbal agreement some time before."

The new channel will be 15 feet deep, 20 feet wide at the bottom, and 60 feet across at the top when finished.
