Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Dick West, alias Little Dick, was killed April 7, 1898, by Marshals Tilghman, Rhinehart and Fossett. Last of the Doolin gang to die, after Doolin's death he organized with Frank and Al Jennings and Pat O'Malley (tape covering name, ? Morris) what was later known as the Jennings gang. Note pine board slab, and his long slender fingers. He was one of few men in the Southwest who could shoot accurately with either hand.
