The Charles E. France room, special attraction of the new 5-floor building, will be opened to the public for the first time Sunday. A protriat of France, painted by Dick Goetz, will be unveiled at the dedication of the special room at 2 p.m. The painting, which will hang in the room decorated with Victorian furnitures and fixtures, was commissioned by Sylvan N. Goldman, chain grocer...Mrs. Walter L. Gray, president of the city library board, will preside at the 3 p.m. ceremonies dedicating the new library building. Kermit Hardwick, board member, will present 13 lifetime "patron cards," the first ever given, as part of the ceremony."
