Scale model of Altus Dam

Completed scale model of the dam. Caption says, "A-580 Final Design 1:60 scale model. The circular gates can be raised and lowered. All nine of them are raised in the picture. The right side of the dam has a spillway which is not controlled by the gates. A bridge will be built across the top, and will rest on pier in center of right hand side and on the piers between the gates. Original picture by Robert R. Edge, Hyd. Lab., Denver, Colo."
