In the play he is Teddy Brewster, a charachter who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt; believing so he charges up the stairs, which are suppose to be San Juan Hill, puts on his helmet to go digging in the Panama Canal and wears formal attire for the state occasion. the play is on stage nightly, excepting Monday, through New Year's Eve. Kroutil is in his second year with the Mummers."
