Emmanuel Episcopal Church and Rectory, Shawnee

Brick building, arched doorway in covered vestibule, arched windows, and steeple on roof. Wood frame building to right. Written on back "Emmanuel Church, Shawnee (the rectory is the frame building at the right of church.)" In the history document it states the rectory was moved to the back of the lot behind the church.

Rev. Wm. Du Hamel sitting in chair, holding Bible in right hand. He was the priest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church who also served at the Black mission of St. Thomas. The church existed from 1910 until around 1919 when the land was sold.
