Hill predicts that the New Mexico man will prove to be a "go-get-ter", outlines his business travel itinerary, and requests to learn by February 1 of the status of the Post Office Box in order to direct his mail there. Handwritten postscript at top left of page requests a pardon for the errors.

He ends his letter stating that he will answer Ma's and Jennie's letters another time and for his father, A.D., to excuse his short letter.
