A Christmas message from T. N. Carswell sent with flowers to The Charles Barnes home in Abilene, Texas. A short story written by Carswell about the "Barnes clan" starring Charlie and Katherine and their grandchildren Debby, Beverly, Kathy, Teressa and Patty. His story sets a scene representing the joy of grandchildren at Christmastime. The reverse side includes business letterhead of ABILENE Machine Company, Telephone OR2-3861, 1334-42 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas, and bears a Fox River Bond watermark.

[Clipping: Editor Pleads for Immediate Action On 12-Point Gambling Bill -- Signed by C. C. Wade]
Editorial from the February 21, 1961 issue of The Baptist Standard, detailing what happened during the hearing on House Joint Resolution 4 and asking that people contact their representatives to oppose the bill. There is a pre-printed letter on the editorial for one to sign and fill in their representative; It is signed by C. C. Wade and addressed to Truett Latimer. The last sentence of the third paragraph is subject to an annotation that reads, 'This is good! Don't give up! You have our prayers!'. The other side of the paper contains an article titled 'Safeguards Against Secularization'.

The campaign is defined as "seeking more light in the form of a contribution", the contribution being the answer to the question, "What is Americanism?". The answer will then be used "to help stimulate an Americanism Revival comparable in results to the periods of the Revolution, the Making of the Constitution, and the Civil War" stressing that the country's destiny depends on these answers. Who lets his country die, lets all things die, dies himself ignobly, and all things dying curse him!"
