Bitter Creek flood Damaged Bridge

Bridge, battered by this and previous floods has been condemned. R.R. Walter (left), who ownes farm on both sides of creek this side of bridge, Willis H. Milton, SCS technician, and Charles A. Hollopeter, (rt) district supervisor, inspect damage. Bitter Creek is Chikaskia River tributary. Walter said creek ran out of banks 12 times in 1951 spring.
