They are posed for a team portrait in their uniforms which consist of a cap, a shirt, knickerbockers, socks, and shoes. A few baseball bats and gloves are set on the ground before them.

The letter on the back reads, "Sorry I won't get to see all of you before leaving for the winter - Expect to go to San Angelo next week - Put a substitute for us in the club and for goodness sake don't forget me for I hope to get back to that town some day - With best to you and your mother. Adelaide." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin McFaddin + 3rd Beaumont, Tex."
