The photo was taken in the parlor of Sam Rayburn's home. From left to right are: Tom Rayburn, Medibel (Rayburn) Bartley, Sam, Katherine (Rayburn) Thomas and Richard "Dick" Rayburn. The men wear dark suits with ties. The women wear dresses. They are sitting on a sofa that is now located in Sam Rayburn's bedroom. The Porfirio Salinas painting hanging in teh background is still on display at the Sam Rayburn House Museum as are many of the other items in this photograph.
