"Air Strip" flight hostess uniforms
1) Suit jacket for flight attendant uniform of raspberry gaberdine. Waist length; long inset sleeves; stand-up collar; heavy metal zipper with a pull ring. Union label at back left seam of style used from 1964 to 1973. Suit skirt of raspberry gaberdine. Wrap around; left side open; side closure at waist. 2) Coat of lime green and apricot wool. A Thanksgiving for the Fortieth Anniversary of the United Nations from the People of the United States of America
Brochure describing a mosaic gifted from the United States to the United Nations (UN) to celebrate the UN's fortieth anniversary. It provides background on the artist Norman Rockwell and his painting, "The Golden Rule," and about the creation of the mosaic artwork version to be installed at the UN.
