Keahtley discusses his educational background, work at Prudential, his responsibilities with "Kai-Pru", the value and benefits of the venture, key members of the companies, the financial arrangement and organization of the venture, marketing, HMO's, inter-company cooperation, difficulties and criticisms, and the Texas Medical Association.

Interview with Howard L. Baxter, a farmer and former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps from Tom Bean, Texas, regarding his experiences and memories of participating in the CCC during the Great Depression. It includes an appendix with a poem about "The CCC Boys" by Iva Hathaway.

Interview with Sadye Gee, a teacher from Dallas, Texas. Gee discusses her family background, working a laundry service during the Great Depression, education, teaching at B. F. Darrell School, marriage, her husband's career, the Black Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, black Dallas communities, buying a home in Hamilton Park and life in the area as an African-American, raising her daughter, discrimination, schools, the growth of the area, and "buy outs" and relocation. In appendix is a sheet of Gee's biographical information.

Interview with O.R. Sparkman, a Marine WWII veteran and POW from Dallas, Texas. Stationed in China before the war, Sparkman was captured in December 1941 by the Japanese in Beijing and interned at various camps in occupied China and Korea before finishing the war at Hakodate, Japan.
