One side has an image of Christopher columbus wearing armor, with his arms outstretched as he makes landfall, with the text "Christopher Columbus Oct-XII MCCCCXCII" at right. On the reverse, there are a number of images around the central text: "World's Columbian Exposition in Commemoration of the Four-Hundredth Anniversary of the Landing of Columbus.
