Patent for a compressing machine for pressing plastic, cotton, and cotton seeds.

Patent for a new and improved ventilation system. This design consists in "an aperture having a size about ten inches by seven inches in area, a ventilating draft-flue having a diameter of about six inches by six and one-half inches and a height of about ten feet, and a receptacle having a diameter of about twenty-two inches, the said relative proportions being followed accordingly as the size of the privy, commode, or closet is increased or decreased" (lines 56-64).

Patent for dental bridgework with "an improved slotted crown, cap, or band for attaching the bridges to the natural teeth" (lines 9-10).

Patent for invention of improvements of cable clips or hangers.

Patent for an adjustable protective shield for automobile tires, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved holder for receipt books. This "is especially designed for the use of weighers" (line 8). The design calls for being "attached to the scales . . . that is, in the most convenient and agreeable position for the weigher. The book is always at hand, can be fully controlled by the weigher, and saves him [or her] very much trouble" (lines 42-48).

Patent for a new wagon brake design which allows the break to be automatically set, with illustrations.

Patent for a cotton chopper, where the hoes rotate in an elliptical shape rather than a circle.

Patent for a sash lock that comprises two members that are secured together in a manner to hold the meeting rails in close contact.

Patent is for improved efficiency pipe couplers on railway cars.

Patent for a simply-constructed nut-sheller especially designed for pecans, although because it is adjustable, other nuts can be shelled. It has "a reciprocating plunger which is adapted to cut the shell from the nut, and which has also means for cleaning out the nut-holder and shelling-knives, so that the machine is sure to work well every time" (lines 15-19).

Patent for an atomizer meant to distribute liquids, powders, and vapors. Its parts can be easily changed so it can be used in different situations, for cleaning, and to make its use more efficient.

Patent for shade and curtain brackets. This invention allows the brackets at opposites sides of the window frame to be easily adjusted to receiver shade rollers or curtain poles.

Patent for a medicating and massaging appliance. This invention is intended for use in application with the eyes, ears, etc. Illustration included.

Patent for a new and useful Stenographer's Blank Book to "provide a connection for the covers whereby they may be automatically secured at the desired relative inclination without fastening the tape, cord, or ribbon forming the connection" (line 20 -24).

Patent for a tool for "setting new rivets and displacing defective rivets from buggy bow-sockets" (line 9-10), and it is aimed to be easy to use with efficiency and reliability. The tool is constructed to be "simple, strong, durable and inexpensive construction" (line 16-18).

Patent for curtain and shade bracket which is readily secured to the window frame without marring the same and which is provided with adjustable means for attaching the shade and also for attaching the curtain pole, whereby from a single fixture the window shade and curtain may be suspended.

Patent for a life-boat that improves on a previous patent (No. 512,591) for a hydraulic propelling device and adapts the jet propulsion means to a life boat. The life-boat is made to have compartments that, when one compartment gets crushed, the others remain afloat. The water goes into the stove or crushed compartment and can be used to propel the boat forward. The boat also has a system of bulkheads on the roof of the boat, each independent of the others and has valved pipes. Independent oil-holding tanks connected with valved pipes to the hydraulic main pipes, and with valved pipes going outside the boat so they can be emptied in case of emergency.

Patent for a new and improved pneumatic propulsion means, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for improving the baling press in which a rectangular bale of hay is formed. Compared to the traditional press the lever movement is circular and continuous.

Patent for improvements in cotton-valve by providing a valve which may be used in connection with an elevator that carrying the cotton to the gins; to have two batteries or divisions, so that one division may be cut out while the other is in operation. (Lines 10-15) Illustration is included.

Patent for a switch mechanism, which is a improvement for the switch throwing mechanisms used for street railway systems. "The switch is set by means of tripping devices by the car and under control of the motorman."
