Nail-Staple for Barbed Wire.

Patent for a tool meant to assist with attaching fence wire to posts. The nail-staple supports the wire during application to the post, which allows it to be done by a single person, saving time and labor.

Wire-Stretcher.

Patent for improvements in wire-stretcher for use in fence-building in which wire is secured to a fence-post, using horse power to hitch to the whiffletree and driven along close to the lines of posts. When wires are being leaded out, they are being stretched simultaneously. A lever is inserted in front of the spools as a final additional tension device to tighten and staple the wire to the fence-posts. Illustration is included.

This design "relates to current water-mills, the object being to provide a mill of inexpensive and durable construction, having a wheel adapted to rise and fall with the tide, and thus to maintain a constant revolution and working of the mill.
