Classification of the End-of-Term Archive: Extending Collection Development to Web Archives

This is the official website for the project "Classification of the End-of-Term Archive: Extending Collection Development to Web Archives." This project was a collaboration between the Internet Archive and the University of North Texas (UNT) Libraries. It made use of the EOT Archive, a large Web archive of government information. The goal of the EOTCD project was to help librarians identify and select materials in accordance with collection development policies, to find common metrics to identify these materials, and to analyze the needs of future researchers. It includes information such as reports, presentations, research questions and methods, meeting minutes, and project data.

Texas Heritage Online Wiki

This is the wiki for the Texas Heritage Online project. This project is a collaboration between the University of North Texas (UNT) Libraries and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. It is supported in part by funds granted by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The goal of Texas Heritage Online was to promote collaboration among Texas institutions by establishing common standards, sharing best practices and facilitating cooperative funding to provide online access to cultural heritage resources that benefit learners. It includes information such as records of the THO board meetings, presentations, the different working groups and committees, grants, and standards and guidelines.

This is the official website for Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids. Ben's Guide is a service provided by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). This site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. These resources teach how the U.S. government works and include information about the branches of government, how laws are made, the election process, and citizenship. The site includes a glossary, interactive games and activities, and links to many U.S. Government websites for children.

Denton Plan 2030

This is the official website for the Denton Plan 2030. Denton Plan 2030 is an effort by the city of Denton, Texas to update its comprehensive plan for the future growth and development of Denton. The Denton Plan involves input from local residents, as well as the Denton City Council's Planning and Zoning Commission and the Denton Planning Department. National Atlas of the United States

This is the website for the National Atlas, which provides a comprehensive, maplike view into the enormous wealth of geospatial and geostatistical data collected for the United States. It includes many detailed, interactive maps of the nation on a wide variety of subjects such as the environment, history, government, population, and climate, as well as fully documented digital cartographic datasets and articles. The website was removed from service on September 30, 2014.

Glasstire: Visual Art News and Reviews

This is the official website for Glasstire, an online magazine that covers visual art in Texas and Southern California. Founded in 2001, Glasstire was one of the earliest online art journals in the United States. It is a non-profit publication supported in part by grants from The Houston Endowment, The Brown Foundation, the the National Endowment for the Arts, the Greater Houston Community Foundation, the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance, and the Texas Commission for the Arts. It includes articles, news about local art events, videos, and classifieds.

End of Term Presidential Harvest 2008

This is the collection for the End of Term Presidential Harvest 2008, an effort by the Library of Congress, the California Digital Library, the University of North Texas Libraries, the Internet Archive, and the U.S. Government Printing Office to preserve public United States Government web sites at the end of the presidential administration that ended January 19, 2009. Denton Fracking Referendum Project

Collection of harvested webpages that relate to the a November 4, 2014 proposition calling for the prohibition of hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking", within the city limits of Denton, Texas. This referendum was passed by voters and was the first permanent ban on fracking in the state of Texas. These webpages document news and viewpoints related to the fracking ban from late 2014.
