Raincoat

Raincoat of navy and white horizontal striped patent vinyl. The A-line coat is of short length, extending to just above the knee, and has long sleeves. Center-front opening has wide overlap, and is secured with 4 snaps. There are two side-seam pockets, and a red vinyl belt with square buckle. The coat is fully lined in dark maroon/purple/red taffeta. Coat has single label: "La Flaque / de Paris". Belt has repeated stamped on reverse: "Excel / Backing Guaranteed Wash or clean / as garment"

Hat

Hat of light brown leather printed with dark brown "squiggles". The domed crown is surmounted by a circular button covered with same leather. Around base of crown is a narrow band of same leather, tied, with trailing ends. The wide, floppy brim bends downwards. Unlined, with the leather is backed with a felt-like material. Inner brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. No labels in the hat.

Coat of royal blue and dark magenta striped silk with matching belt. A) Coat of royal blue and dark magenta striped silk. Double breasted with 10 1-inch gold with inlaid mother-of-pearl buttons and 5 bound buttonholes. Bermuda collar. 3/4 length sleeves with 3" band cuffs. Two large patch pockets at sides. Lined in navy silk. Four large, covered snaps supplement closure. Coat has been altered by stitching front closed at lower portion of opening to form a "dress". Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" B) Covered belt in matching royal blue and dark magenta striped silk. Three inches wide with self covered, rectangular cinch buckle.

Maternity ensemble of quilted patterned nylon and black knit. A) Maxi dress. Black knit nylon bodice with long sleeves, high neck with fold-over. Attached skirt, full-length, of quilted nylon printed in "crazy quilt" pattern of patterned blocks, in greens, oranges, pinks, yellow, white, purple, etc. Skirt opens along a slit at left side which is/can be secured with 7 tiny chased brass buttons.
