[Tina Richey and mascot Sparky cutting a ribbon]

Photograph of Tina Richey and mascot Sparky cutting the ribbon at the official opening of the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on March 30, 2000. Richey has long dark hair and is dressed in a black cowboy hat, a multi-colored jacket, a blue shirt, blue gloves, and blue jeans. The costume of Sparky includes a head with an upside-down bolt on its top, with paper flames erupting from the bolt's end, and an outfit. Sparky's clothes consist of a checkered shirt, a blue vest, a red neckerchief that says "Sparky", red gloves, blue jeans, and tan chaps. At the far side of the road Sparky and Richey stand on is a white wall that runs along the edge of the road and has "Texas" painted on it between two logos. A tall metal fence extends above the wall, beyond which is a large crowd of people seated in bleachers. According to the label on the back of the photo, Tina Richey was chosen at random from the audience in the stands to cut the ribbon.
