[Statler Hilton hotel]
Photograph of the Statler Hilton hotel in Dallas, Texas. Designed for the Statler Hotels chain, the hotel opened after that chain's sale to Hilton Hotels and was completed in 1956 at a cost of $16 million, the Statler Hilton Dallas was the first major hotel built in Dallas and was designed by architect William B. Tabler. This photograph was commissioned by client Neiman-Marcus.

Photograph of the Dallas Museum for Contemporary Arts, a short-lived museum for modern art in Texas. In the photograph an unidentified gentleman is entering the establishment. The museum developed from the Society of Contemporary Arts, which was organized in 1956. The museum had attracted the support of prominent patrons as Edward and Betty Marcus, in which Edward S. Marcus served as the president of the Dallas Society for Contemporary Arts. This photograph was commissioned by client Neiman-Marcus.
