Return of Capt. Hamilton K. Redway which details the present and absent men of Company "F" First Veteran regiment of the New York Cavalry for the month of April in the year of 1865. The return notes enlisted men on "extra or daily duty," commissioned officers present or absent, and any alterations made to the company for this particular month. This document was created while Redway was stationed at Kelly's Creek in West Virginia.

Inventory and inspection report of Quartermaster's stores issued to Capt. Hamilton K. Redway's company. The stores that were listed and inspected were: twenty ponchos, fifteen shelter tents, fifteen canteens, and fifteen haversacks. With the listed items, this report also includes the amount of time these items were in use, by whom they where received, as well as the item's condition and disposition. The report is signed by both Capt. Hamilton K. Redway and Capt, J. C. Freman while they were stationed at Kelly's Creek in West Virginia. It is dated April 27, 1865.

Receipt of supplies shipped to Capt. Hamilton K. Redway at his station in Kelly's Creek, West Virginia. Redway received twenty bales of hay for his cavalry's forage. A note written by Captain Farlin on the receipt states that no grain was on hand for this shipment and that he has telegraphed Madden to go buy oats for the cavalry. Redway received this shipment at his station in Kelly's Creek.

Redway received fifty six sacks of corn, thirty two sacks of oats, and fifty seven bales of hay for his cavalry's forage. Notations on the receipt state that additional stores of corn were available at Tompkins. He received this shipment at his station in Kelly's Creek.

General court martial order sent to Lieut. H. K. Redway summoning him to a court session on April 13, 1864 at 10 o'clock. The session was being held in Martinsburg, West Virgina. Lieut. Redway would be part of the defense in the case of U. S. vs. John Whittey, Jr., 1st N. Y. Veteran Cavalry.
