Photograph of Galveston. The large, dark masonry building at the upper lefthand side of the photograph is Old Red, the first building constructed for the University of Texas Medical Branch. The photograph appears to have been taken between Market and Postoffice Streets, facing east. Market is the street stretching east on the left of the photograph.
