Wildhorse Creek Flood

Photograph of Wilhorse Creek channel after 4 inch rain storm on night of 7/8/62. Thirteen structures were discharging above this point. No flooding occurred during 1962 except where channel was blocked by debris 3 miles below this point.

He also watered neighbors’ cattle from this site during drought years of ’52, 53’, and ’54. This site was completed in 1950. Oil wells were to be drilled in sediment pool were spaced on the edge of water and […] under the pool.”
