Gully Caused by Heavy Rainfall

Photograph of a gully caused by the 19-inch rainfall which fell in 7-hours on June 22. This gully, 25 feet deep and 40 feet wide, & several blocks long, is in the middle of what was a travelled street before the rain started. Less than 2 acres of land drain into the gully above its head.

Photograph of an inlet to 7 acre fish pond from irrigation ditch. Water is from dug wells, 14,000 four inch fingerlings-10,000 channel and approximately 4,000 blue cat will be stocked 4-10-68. Fish will be commercially fed and sold. Pond will stand 4 feet in depth on north end to 5 feet in depth on south end.
