This scrapbook won first place at the Sixth District Convention. Included are 49 pages of prints purchased from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and made available for ten cents a piece by the American Committee for Art Appreciation. The brochure includes a history of the different painters. These prints were exhibited at the Abilene Chamber of Commerce and at the Abilene Women's Club.

Scrapbook containing records relating to the Frances B. Fisk Student Art Loan Fund and the Penny Art Fund. The Penny Art Fund was a fundraiser for art started by the General Federation of Women's Clubs in 1930 and adopted by Texas in 1933. Each club member donated one penny, which the Federation used to buy original art that was to be given to state clubs as prizes for outstanding work in promotion of art. The Fiske Student Loan Fund was a program sponsored by the Sixth District of the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs (including Abilene) and contributions were initially used to sponsor students from West Texas to the Art Institute of Chicago.

Anderson form a private corporation by the name of The West Texas Baptist Sanitarium in Abilene, in the County of Taylor and State of Texas the 26th day of February, A. D., 1923. The third page includes: "George S. Anderson as Chairman, and T. N. Carswell, as Secretary certify at a meeting of the Board of Trustees held May 19, 1936 the changed name of the corporation from WEST TEXAS BAPTIST SANITARIUM to HENDRICK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL." The articles are signed on May 9, 1936.
