Roberts presents to Carswell the list of names of officers elected at a meeting held in Haskell: Montgomery, R. C., Couch, R. C., Williams, Rev. C. W., Short, Aubrey, Rule, Terry, Pierson, A. C. He notes there was a nice crowd and explains that R. C. Montgomery, who was elected Chairman, was many years earlier the Chairman of the first Local Option Campaign in Haskell.
