Studio portrait photograph of the Frederiksen family in front of a blank backdrop. An ornate table has been added on the right, on which one of the children sits. The man on the far right has been identified as Andrew C. Frederiksen. His first wife, Karen Marie Tarina Frederiksen, stands on the left with her right hand around the shoulder of Thora Marie Jorgine 'Doris" Frederiksen, her daughter. Her second daughter, a slightly older girl sitting in a small chair between her parents, has been identified as Olivia E. Frederiksen. Lastly, their son, Auderman Frederiksen, stands in the back with his left arm resting on his father's shoulder. There is a hand-written note on the back of the photograph but it cannot be read with certainty.

J. C. Evers and Family

Studio photograph of J. C. Evers and his family posing in front of a light-colored backdrop and a set of pulled curtains. J. C. Evers himself is sitting on a chair on the far left. He wears a three-piece suit with a dark tie. A young woman is behind him on the right wearing a turtleneck top with a dark, belted skirt. Two children are in the middle, a girl and a boy; presumably siblings. A fourth person, an older woman dressed in dark clothing, is seated on the far right in a wicker chair. The photograph has been pasted on a stiff, cardboard matte surface that is chipping on the top left corner. Hand-written text on the back of the photograph reads, "From Abelona Wind Harton. Mr. & Mrs. H. P. Jensen

Copy print of an oval picture frame with a photograph inside it of husband and wife Hans Peter Jensen and Maren Jensen. The frame has ornate floral motifs on the top, bottom, and sides, as well as beveled edges and a continuous pattern of decorative circle reliefs running near the edge of the frame glass. Community Hall

Postcard of exterior of the Danevang community hall. Five cars are parked outside, within the confines of a small chicken wire fence. A small secondary, adjacent, single-story structure lies just to the right of the community hall. There are a series of three tombstones a few feet from each other in front of the building. On the back of the postcard, hand-written text in blue ink reads, " No 10 from Helga Thyssen for archives".

Four Danevang Homes

Postcard of a composite image of four homes belonging to the Danevang family. They are all two-story structures but vary in architectural details, number of windows, construction materials, and landscape elements. The two on top look to be more suburban in setting, while the two on the bottom appear to be located in a rural environment. There is no addressee on the back of the postcard, but various notes have been written on it. Rough, black patches of paper remain from wherever it was torn out of.

[Articles of Agreement for Warranty Deed]

Deed recording the transaction between Laurits J. Lykke and his wife Hanna with Carl Harton regarding the sell of 70 acres of land in Wharton County, which was sold to Carl for a total sum of $8,298.12. The document goes on to give specific payment schedules and other relevant information. The deed is held together with a second document, a smaller piece of paper that was signed by a notary of Wharton County authenticating the transaction.

There are two patios on the first floor. They each have an overhang and slender columns acting as support. A brick chimney can be seen at the very top.

[Articles of Incorporation of the Danish Mutual Insurance Company]

Legal document inaugurating the Danish Mutual Insurance Company's corporate membership, filed through the Secretary of State's office in Austin, Texas, and signed under a notary. The document specifies a twenty year lifetime minimum and the seven men of the first board of directors who will be in charge of insuring both Wharton and Matagorda counties. They are as follows : Neils Christian Jensen, Marcus Nielsen, Helvig Jensen Berndt, H. P. Hermansen, Jasper J. Juhl, Marcus Christensen, and Niels M. Hansen.

Photograph of a two-story structure in Danevang, Texas, belonging to H. P. Jensen. A white sticker on the front of the photograph states that Jensen was the "first mail carrier. Carried mail from 1902-1914 as a rule with a little mule and cart. He also bould bring medicine [sic]." The house itself is past a narrow dirt road in the foreground. It has intersecting gable roofs and light-colored siding. Several windows are on the first and second floors. Round bushes line the outside of the house.

Helvig Berndt Home

Photograph of Helvig Berndt's home in Danevang, Texas. The photograph was taken a distance away from the actual home, which can be seen in the back center-left. It is a two-story structure with intersecting gable roofs and several double-hung windows. A barn with a wide gable roof can be seen to the right. Two men are in the foreground on the leftmost part of the image. A horse-drawn wagon joins them. The two men have been identified as Anders H. and Helvig J. Berndt. The photograph has been placed on a stiff mat board which has chipped considerably on the bottom left corner.

P. J. Agerskov Petersen and Family

Copy negative print of the Petersen family insider their home. Only two have been properly identified: P. J. Agerskov Petersen is the man with the three piece suit on the left, and Verner Petersen is the young boy on his lap. The other names have not been properly matched. Behind them, on a wooden cabinet, there is a collection of family frames and flower vases on a lace tablecloth. Behind that, the walls bear two large framed bust portraits and other small family memorabilia.
