The second half of the deed, prepared by the U. S. Consul from Tampico, Mexico, acknowledges that Florence J. de Ganahl "acknowledged such instrument to me to be her act and deed, and she declared that she had willingly signed..." Also included is the envelope in which this document was mailed in; it has text that describes the deed inside.

The last sentence of the deed states: "The total amount of land intended by this conveyance to be conveyed, is five hundred and forty acres, more or less."

[Chattel Mortgage Agreement Between W. H. Bonnell and Charles Schreiner]

Original chattel mortgage document of agreement between W. H. Bonnell and Charles Schreiner. The agreement states that Bonnell will secure his debt to Schreiner that amounts to a total of $5,000 by conveying his "entire flock of goats" and "entire flock of sheep" as collateral until he is able to pay the debt that is to be due on November 1, 1917. Later in the agreement there is a statement that says Schreiner has full authority to sell of the property if Bonnell is not able to pay off the debt.

According to this deed, the promissory note was worth $1,000 and was due by August 1919, with 8% interest per annum; the last paragraph states that Arthur Real asserts the note had been fulfilled and he releases his claims to the property originally owned by the Bonnells.

Chattel mortgage agreement between W. H. and Allie H. Bonnell and Charles Schreiner Bank in the total amount of $3,500 to be due on the first of December 1925. In this agreement Bonnell is putting up his flock of goats and sheep, as well as his stock of cattle, as collateral to secure the payment on this note; if the debt is not paid Schreiner has the authority to sell the property. Attached is a certificate acknowledging that the copy of this document has been filed; also there is a statement printed at the bottom stating that this agreement is "given in renewal of balance owing by us to said Chas. Schreiner Bank on a certain note of date the 17th July, 1922."
