This environmental assessment was prepared to determine the enviromental impacts of a proposed extension of the DART Orange Line from Belt Line Station to the DFW Airport and to propse mitigating measures. This final version includes responses to all written and oral comments received during the public review period for the previous draft assessment. The authors expected their report to lead to a Finding of No Significant Impact by the Federal Transit Administration.

Appendices for the final environmental assessment for the proposed extension of the DART Orange Line from Belt Line Station to the DFW Airport. These include a list of personnel responsible for preparation, a distribution list, transcripts of public meetings, public notices, responses to comments recieved during the public review process, correspondence with relevant agencies, soil type and rare species reference information, wetland determination forms, a hazardous materials list, 10% design reports, noise and vibrations impact assessments, a list of reference plans and guidelines, and an assessment of potential operational impacts on the airport.

Appendix J to accompany the Final Environmental Statement for the proposed LRT extension from a junction north of Bachman Station to Irving and DFW Airport. It contains maps and drawing drawing made during the preliminary engineering process.

This report represents a re-evaluation of the environmental impact of DART's Orange Line DFW Airport Extension following modifications made to the proposed project after both the FAA and FTA had issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The purpose of this report was to determine if the modifications might result in environmental impacts not previously not documented in the earlier environmental assessment, in which case the FONSIs would remain valid. Some modifications to the rail alignments were made to avoid the need to relocate FAA infrastructure, to eliminate bridge structers that could impact flight safety, and to provide enough space for future roadway expansions.

This Local Environmental Assessment (LEA) describes the transportation and environmental impacts associated with the construction and operation of a proposed, 2.6-mile light rail extension from Ledbetter Station to the UNT Dallas campus and identifies mitigation measures. This Final LEA is based on the 5% level of design and includes responses to comments received during the 30-day public review period for the Draft LEA.
