On display are four evening designs including a Ferdinando Sarm 1963 evening dress of orange and yellow print chiffon in multiple layers with a bodice of bronze coque feathers; a pants ensemble; an Oscar de la Renta 1995 evening pantsuit of coral silk satin blouse and matching pants with jacket of coral ostrich feathers; and a late 1960s evening dress of multi-colored organza in a floral motif, trimmed with yellow ostrich feathers retailed by Lillie Rubin; all shown in a dark gallery space on low platforms.

On display, a Jane Ventura evening ensemble of brown French organza and fake fur fabric with striped chinchilla feathers consisting of a sleeveless dress and matching feather cape, which the designer wore to the Pre-Opening Ball for the opening of the DFW Airport in 1973; and a Jane Ventura man’s formal dinner jacket of brown pheasant feathers with a brown satin lapel; fully lined in brown silk. Jane tailored this jacket for her husband, Sam Ventura, to match one of her own ensembles, which they wore to the Opera Ball in 1968.
