[Cars driving past the square on County Seat Saturday]

Photograph of cars driving past the square on County Seat Saturday. The camera captures a view of the square where cars move towards the right sight of the photo across a multi-lane road, passing by horses in full tack and the courthouse at the center of the square. Amongst the cars in the photo's foreground are a few people standing next to vars or crossing the street. One car's passenger door is opened by a still-seated occupant. Beyond the cars, on the lawn surrounding the courthouse, a large group of people have gathered. Some stand under the shade of trees while others stand behind a wooden fence adorned with signs advertising "Crouch Realty Co.", Locust St. Grill", and "Downtown Video". The domed corners of the courthouse and it multi-domed clocktower rise above the trees surrounding the building's base. In the right side of the photo, a line of shopfronts sits facing a street that runs alongside the courthouse.

[People riding a small "train" on County Seat Saturday]

Photograph of people riding a small "train" on County Seat Saturday. The miniature train has a small open-air vehicle pulling its colorful cars, driven by a man in a black cowboy hat, red bandana worn around the neck, a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes. The vehicle has a small gold bell on its top as well as a small American flag and a small Texas flag on its front. The "train" has five cars in its assembly, which from front to back are blue, green, yellow, and then red in color. The "train" drives on a multi-lane road from the left side of the photo towards the right but has stopped before a crosswalk to let a family of four cross the road. The family walks away from the courthouse and its crowded lawn towards the camera. Amongst the courthouse's crowds, multiple tents have been set up to provide open-air shade. [Denton County Confederate Soldier Monument]

Photograph of the Denton County Confederate Soldier Monument. The monument consists of a small, standalone archway with a confederate soldier statue on its top, a small sphere sitting on either side of the statue. Words around the archway's inner curve read "Our confederate soldiers". Above these words. under the top edge of the archway, is a motif of the letters "C", "S", and "A" as one icon. Rectangular piers support the archway's top section, each with words engraved on them. On each of the piers, near the ground, are singular cone-shaped attachments that both have "1861" engraved on them. Beyond the archway, the walkway it sits on extends into the distance a short way before splitting into three paths that all lead up to the Denton County Courthouse. Large green trees occupy grass growing around the paths. The courthouse itself is a large multi-floor building with rows of rectangular windows, stone bricks walls, and vaulted domes at each of its corners and atop the clocktower on its roof.

[The Evers Hardware storefront]

Photograph of the Evers Hardware storefront in Denton, TX. The front of the building is made of dark red bricks and includes a windowed first floor, shaded by a flat overhang, and a second floor with a large multi-paned window. Through the first-floor's windows, a wide variety of items can be seen stacked inside the store. A mostly legible sign in the far right window says "Extra parking at rear of...Walnut St." A brick mailbox sits on the sidewalk in front of the center window, near the store's entrance. A red Dodge truck sits parked in the photo's bottom left corner while a white car occupies the opposite corner. A line of small rectangular windows sits above the overhang that shade the store's first floor. The second floor has one large window made up by multiple rectangular panes, through which a yellow wheelbarrow can be seen. A white poster has been placed near the window's center and advertises a "special" for "7.97". Above the second-floor window is a rectangle of white stone with "1885. Evers Hardware Co. 1913" in dark letters written on it, partially shaded by a ledge that tops the stone rectangle.
