A letter written to Mr. Jack Ross, Parole and Probation Compact Administrator, Austin, Texas from G. R. Klopfenstein, Chief (by R. N. McMichael, Placement Supervisor), Bureau of Probation and Parole, Columbus 15, Ohio, dated September 3, 1954. McMichael refers to the request of a pre-parole investigation advising that a health report of Subject 95040 OP has been attached. Postscript by McMichael advises that a detainer filed against this subject by the Sheriff of Grayson County, Texas has been withdrawn making subject eligible for regular parole release on November 3, 1954. Attached is a letter written to Mr. R. N. McMichael, Placement Supervisor, Ohio Penitentiary from Richard H. Brooks, M. D., Medical Director, James Hospital dated August 26, 1954. Brooks advises McMichael that the medical records of Inmate No. 95040 have been reviewed and has retained the "No Occupational Restrictions" classification given shortly after arrival at the penitentiary.
