Video footage from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during the musical performance of "By A Black Hand-The Rap Musical" at the Clarence Muse Café Theater on the weekend of February 24th 2006. The footage shows the entire 90-minute performance done through a cast of 6 accomplished black actors and actresses. The performance, through a combination of speaking and raping, tells the story of black history alongside a current granddaughter-grandfather relationship.
