The portrait is mounted on a tan matte which reads: "George Maniatia 45 West 57th Street, N.Y." The photograph is encased in a tan folder with the same photographer name on front. Photograph shows I. H. Kempner, Jr., seated in a wooden chair (Photo ends at hips). Kempner Jr. is wearing a suit (with stripe pattern) white shirt, and tie with diamond shapes of multi colors. He has thin, dark hair and has his hands folded across his lap.

The house has four brick chimneys seen above the roof line. The upper and lower porches of the ranch house are screened. Adjacent to the ranch house is the white round cistern house with white railed stairway that leads to the upper entrance. The circular driveway is visible to the right of the main house. Other ranch buildings include the chicken house in bottom left corner; garage to the right of the chicken house; above and to the left of the garage are two small white wooden buildings (only one is visible, the other is obscured by trees) that are the servants quarters. C. U. Hogan standing next to a Denton County Pioneers memorial headstone while saluting. He is wearing a suit and holding his hat in is right hand. The memorial reads: "1851 1857 Dedicated to the Memory of the Denton County Pioneers Who Founded Alton By the Benjamin Lyon Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution 1930." The writing in white ink reads, "To my good friend Mr. Will Williams a useful and lovable citizen of Denton With my best wishes, C. Mr. and Mrs. Will Williams
Mr. and Mrs. Will Williams in formal wear standing outside of their home. A tree with a sign that says, "The Williams Live Here," is on the right side in the background while a car is visible on the left. Will Williams was a long-time Denton businessman who owned The Williams Store on the Square and stock raiser, famous for his Shetland Pony herds. He married Effie Wright and they had four children. Effie was civic-minded and served as county chairman for the Texas Centennial Commission, charter member for the First Methodist Church, the local chapter of the DAR, the Ariel Club, and the Denton Historical Society.
