Mr. and Mrs. Will Williams

Mr. and Mrs. Will Williams in formal wear standing outside of their home. A tree with a sign that says, "The Williams Live Here," is on the right side in the background while a car is visible on the left. Will Williams was a long-time Denton businessman who owned The Williams Store on the Square and stock raiser, famous for his Shetland Pony herds. He married Effie Wright and they had four children. Effie was civic-minded and served as county chairman for the Texas Centennial Commission, charter member for the First Methodist Church, the local chapter of the DAR, the Ariel Club, and the Denton Historical Society.
