Photograph of the Medical Department in their first term at Fort Worth University. The group of all men are positioned in front of a brick wall with tall windows, arranged in four rows with the front row seated. They all wear dark suits, and most wear bowler or top hats. Written in pen on the photograph next to a man in the top row at right is "Dr. Walter Allen." The photograph is mounted to a black board with a strip of paper at the bottom with printed text that reads: " Medical Department, Ft Worth University, first term / Jan 25, 1895 taken by Swartz View Co. Top row, far / right James Walter Allen." The black board is mounted to a white board.
